Remote Wills & Power of Attorney – MacPhee & Partners, Here to Help

If you are you concerned about not having an up-to-date Will, or Power of Attorney, but feel restricted by lockdown requirements, then we have some positive news.

Recent changes to Law Society regulations mean that solicitors are now able to prepare Wills and Powers of Attorney for their clients and witness their signing remotely, through video calls.

A Will is arguably one of the most important documents you will prepare in your life and so it’s important to ensure that you get it right. With these updated Covid-19 measures in place, you can determine how your estate is to be distributed with the reassurance that you have been given sound, up to date, legal advice from a solicitor, without having to leave the comfort of your armchair!

We greatly understand that this is an uncertain time for everyone and we would encourage you to get in touch with us if you have any concerns in this regard, or would simply like more information.
