Property Description

Enjoying an idyllic, prime position within a natural woodland and enjoying views over its beautifully maintained, generous garden grounds, the sale of Allt Darroch offers a fantastic opportunity to purchase a superb, detached dwellinghouse with detached garage on the outskirts of the desirable village of Roy Bridge.

This tranquil, semi-rural location is further complemented by the property itself which is in excellent order throughout and well presented. Offering bright and deceptively spacious accommodation conveniently arranged over two floors, the property benefits from double glazing and oil fired central heating. Internally Allt Darroch boasts many terrific features comprising a large lounge with picture windows, multi-fuel stove and French doors leading to a most impressive and attractive, semi-open plan dining kitchen and conservatory, five double bedrooms including a substantial master bedroom and modern bathroom suites to name but a few.

The property’s spacious layout provides the owners with flexible accommodation and offers a fantastic family home, however it would also be ideally suited as an  idyllic holiday home or as an opportunity to use as self-catering accommodation in a very buoyant holiday letting market.

Allt Darroch is approached by a private gravelled driveway leading to the detached garage and providing ample parking to the front and side. The generous, well stocked and maintained landscaped garden grounds are laid to a mixture of lawn and gravelled areas for ease of maintenance, offset with mature trees, bushes, shrubs and seasonal planting providing colour and interest, whilst raised vegetable beds also feature. A paved patio area offers an excellent entertainment area, enjoying privacy to the rear and a large lined shed/workshop, benefiting from light, power and double glazing, is also included in the sale.

Set within the heart of spectacular Highland scenery, Roy Bridge is a popular village approximately 13 miles from Fort William. The village has a café, shop and hotels, with further facilities and amenities available at Spean Bridge some 3 miles distant and a wider range available in Fort William itself. Notwithstanding its village status, Roy Bridge has the distinction of being on the Glasgow-Fort William railway route and offers travellers a route to Glasgow, as well as the overnight sleeper to London.
