From Argyll Square in Oban town centre, continue south on the A816 road, signposted Campbeltown, Lochgilphead and the Hospital. At Oban Community Fire Station roundabout, continue straight ahead, up the hill and out of Oban for around 4 miles. Turn left where signposted, Barran, Glen Lonan & Musdale. Follow the road and at the junction, turn right for Barran and Musdale. Cross the stone bridge and proceed on, passing Barran on the left. The entrance road for Fashven is 3rd on the left, through a gate, signposted. Closing the gate behind you, continue up and round, through a second closed gate, and Fashven is directly ahead.
