Finished to a very high specification, this immaculate property boasts a bespoke handmade kitchen with premium appliances, polished granite work surfaces and oak flooring, modern bathroom suites and a bright and airy lounge with feature wood burning stove.

The accommodation comprises – entrance hallway, lounge, kitchen with dining and sitting area, utility, bathroom and en-suite double bedroom all on the ground floor. Stairs to the upper hallway lead to the master bedroom with balcony and  en-suite shower room, three further double bedrooms and a family bathroom.

Situated in a stunning location facing the Grey Corries mountain range, in an elevated, south facing position offering pleasant views across the countryside, The Old Byre forms a superior detached villa with integral garage, set in generous garden grounds with detached garage and workshop. This idyllic location is further complemented by the striking property itself, designed to take full advantage of its position and providing a superb family home.

In excellent order both externally and internally, the property has been thoughtfully designed to create fantastic living space and enjoys well proportioned, bright and airy rooms. Boasting many premium features such as an impressive Stoves wood-burning stove and large patio doors in the spacious lounge, a bespoke handmade solid oak fitted kitchen with granite work surfaces, integral appliances and a Stoves cooking range, an en-suite master bedroom with French doors leading to the balcony and modern bathroom suites to name but a few.

The property’s layout provides the owners with flexible accommodation and offers a fantastic family home, however it would also be ideally suited as an idyllic holiday retreat or exciting investment opportunity for the extremely buoyant self-catering/Airbnb market.

The generous garden grounds are formed around the ruins of the original croft barn and are laid in the main to lawn for ease of maintenance. To the rear of the property is a small pond, offset with mature trees. The gravelled driveway provides ample parking and leads to the detached garage. The timber workshop is located to the rear of the property and subject to planning, could provide further accommodation, with light, power, water connection and wood burning stove already in situ.
